The Pregnancy Center

This is something that my wife posted on Facebook.

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about pro choice vs. Pro-life. I’m pro-life. But I don’t want to just tell women that are prochoice that my views are better. I want to help the ones it affects. I want to do more than just be pro-life and shove pictures of aborted babies in the faces of young women walking into an abortion clinic. I want to help those women. I want to show them that they have other options. I want to help them with diapers and clothes and maternity care. I want to help teach them how to be a mom or give them information on how to adopt out their baby. I want to be more than “pro-life.” I want to help women that find themselves in unplanned pregnancies. I don’t want to have the title “pro-life” if I have no intention on helping those that are pregnant and don’t know what to do. That’s why I support the pregnancy center. They’re living out their pro -life stance. Helping teens that find themselves in tough situations. They have support for those that have had abortions and need help processing through that. They provide clothes, diapers, carseats, cribs, maternity clothes. They share the love of Christ with these young women. They do such amazing work. They really prove that they are pro-life through what they do. If you are pro-life, or even pro-choice, this is a great non-profit organization to support financially.

I’m really proud of her. She really wants to help people. She talks about it a lot. You should support the Pregnancy Center too. They really do some good things for young women.

Josiah Douglas isn't a super smart guy (even though he has a bachelor's degree), and he doesn't know a lot about God (his degree is in theology), but he does think a lot and sometimes he writes those things down so that you can read them too!
