Lately I’ve been reading the Bible and praying with a friend of mine who lives in England. I call him a friend, but we haven’t ever actually met.

There’s a show on theDove TV called Jovis Bon Hovis and the Creation Crew. It’s a low budget kids show staring mostly a cast of sock puppets and a lovable man child named Jovis Bon Hovis. Joseph Cheetham-Wilkinson is the creator, writer and he also plays Jovis.

Some time ago I came across Joseph on Facebook and we became friends. We have talked several times about everything from puppets to politics

Joseph just started a new project, Christians Together Worldwide. It’s a Facebook and YouTube community based around videos that Joseph makes. In each video he reads a chapter of the Bible and encourages discussion.

It’s a fantastic idea and something that I really want to see take off! It would be amazing to start discussing the Bible in a forum like this with people all over the world. I’m sure that’s the thinking behind it.

It’s cool how when I read the Bible by myself I come up with completely different takeaways than when someone reads it to me in a video and asks what I think. Even now when there’s isn’t a lot of interaction on the Facebook page, I’m still coming away with new thoughts and ideas from the Christians Together Worldwide community.

I’m posting this in my Good Things To Give To section, but I don’t think that Joseph is looking for money (but if you offered it, I’m sure he wouldn’t turn it down). But this is something that you would probably benefit from if you joined and participated in.

The vision is to have people from all over the world talking about the Bible and being a Christian. If you join in, maybe we can make that vision a reality.

Josiah

Josiah Douglas isn't a super smart guy (even though he has a bachelor's degree), and he doesn't know a lot about God (his degree is in theology), but he does think a lot and sometimes he writes those things down so that you can read them too!
